Job Background: Stay-at-home Mom / Air Force Officer

When Scott and Alaina's baby daughter Megan was born, they decided that Alaina would quit her job as a Staffing Supervisor and stay home to be a full-time mom. Scott is an Air Force officer whose pay was enough to get them by, but going down to one income and the added expense of having a baby made things very tight.

The first month in the business they made a profit of $3,000. By the end of third month they had made a total profit of $13,000, which was $3,000 more than Scott's full-time Air Force income! The couple's goal is to bring Scott home when his Air Force commitment is up in order to work the business full-time as a family.
